Regina Chagolla is a public elementary teacher, Emery Unified School Board Trustee, Vice President of Berkeley Federation of Teachers AFT Local 1078, Alameda Labor Council Delegate, and the California Federation of Teacher Vice President of ECE/TK-12 for Northern California. She has worked for Lawerence Hall of Science developing science curriculum that’s based on community-based scientific research that addresses environmental and social justice concerns including water and air quality. She has also worked with organizations like the League of Women Voters, California Latino School Boards Association and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Welcoming Schools. She would be honored to have the support and represent AD 18.
